Walks around Callander and the Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park
Walking & hill walking in the Trossachs National Park is the best way of seeing this beautiful area.
The Trossachs area is near Glasgow and Edinburgh by car and is a great place to start hill walking in the southern highlands. Mountains, lochs, forests, old railway lines, rocky mountain passes, drove roads; there is something for everybody on hill walking holidays in Scotland. There is a fine selection of Munros (over 3000ft), Corbetts (between 2500ft and 3000ft) or Grahams (between 2000ft and 2500ft) in the area. The beautiful scenery created by the Highland Boundary Fault, with views over forests, highland lochs, hills and rivers , makes hill walking around Loch Lomond and the Trossachs unforgettable.
