Callander Community Support
Callander Community Support (CCS) is a group of Callander residents, working with Callander Community Council and Callander Community Development Trust. They are there to offer support to neighbours experiencing difficulties due to COVID-19.
If they can, they will help if:
-
You are self-isolating, or are in a high-risk group and cannot leave your home;
-
You need shopping or a prescription picked up, or a letter posted; or
-
You just need a friendly voice at the end of the phone.
You can contact CCS via their dedicated Facebook page – fb.me/helpingcallander or, if you don’t have internet access, they have a dedicated mobile number – 07934 895555 (open every day between 9 am and 8 pm).
All CCS volunteers are local and the service is FREE.
Due to the highly contagious nature of the coronavirus, CCS can not offer face-to-face contact. Instead, they will drop off deliveries outside your door. CCS volunteers will wash their hands regularly and will follow the latest Government guidelines.
IMPORTANT: CCS volunteers will never ask to come into your property. Be safe. If in any doubt, do not open the door.
