The Roman Camp Country House Hotel provides beautifully appointed suites and guest rooms, an elegant award winning restaurant, along with spacious private rooms for functions and events. Our country house is located within easy travel of Glasgow, Edinburgh and Stirling, providing a secluded comforting retreat from city life. Eric and Marion Brown who have run the hotel for twenty five years, wish to welcome you into this luxurious historic hotel to enjoy the gracious hospitality that sets the Roman Camp apart from other hotels.
Dining rooms and Restaurants
Our food has been awarded three rosettes by the AA ranking us within the top 10% of UK Restaurants. Using wonderful fresh ingredients, from the hills, seas and rivers of Scotland, cooking it with flair and skill to prepare innovative, exciting and mouth-watering dishes. We have two dining rooms The Drummond Suite & The Wilson Room, where food is served Butler style, and at tables set with fine white Linen, Silverware and Crystal, our service is formal but attentive and friendly.
Afternoon Tea
For generations The Roman Camp has been synonymous with the art of taking Afternoon Tea. Our Drawing room and Library are perfect for a long afternoon relaxing and enjoying the company friends over a feast of Cakes Sandwiches and fine Teas, you can even have a glass of Champagne to add a little more sparkle.
Lounge Service
If time is against you and you would like some lighter food to snack on we can offer our lounge menu, with a selection of sandwiches, soup, teas and coffees, served in the intimate Link Bar and lounge areas.
Wedding venue
Uniquely romantic and charismatic our hotel makes the perfect wedding venue with twenty acres of beautiful gardens all for your private and exclusive use. The hotel is licensed for civil weddings and can host your ceremony in one of our elegant public rooms; at a stone alter on the riverbank, or in our secret chapel and library. Located in the heart of the Trossachs national park, guarding the gateway to the Highlands, the Roman Camp Hotel provides a unique experience for every guest.
