Your National Park adventure begins in Callander

The Ridings are found quietly nestling in the beautiful Trossachs hamlet of Brig O' Turk; a peaceful area in the heart of the Trossachs National Park.

Bed and Breakfast

We offer two comfortable Bed & Breakfast rooms both with ensuite bathrooms. One is a double room with views to Ben Venue and one is a super kingsize double that can also be turned into twin beds.

You can relax in the guest lounge, browsing maps, leaflets and brochures to plan your next day's activities - or just enjoy the fabulous views to Ben Venue. We offer a varied menu for breakfast including full Scottish breakfast as well as vegetarian and vegan options. All cooked with local ingredients where possible.

Self-Catering Accommodation

We also offer self-catering accommodation - a pretty detached one bedroom cottage and a first-floor studio apartment. Both have fully equipped kitchens and are a perfect hideaway in natural surroundings! Both have access to the large garden surrounding The Ridings.

Things To Do

Take the steamship on Loch Katrine, see the red squirrels at The Lodge, visit Doune Castle and Deanston Distillery, follow the Three Loch Drive.

Activities available locally include fishing, golfing, walking, cycling, water sports and horse riding.

Located in Scotland's 1st National Park, The Ridings is just 6 miles from
Callander and only 2 miles from Loch Katrine on the meandering Dukes Pass which eventually arrives at Aberfoyle

If you love nature you will enjoy spotting the many varieties of bird that visit our busy bird table. If you watch carefully you may well see red squirrels in the trees and even a badger trundling through the garden in the evening.
