Your National Park adventure begins in Callander

Straid House is lovely Georgian House with lots of character and extensive gardens to relax in. Guests can also enjoy the lounge with the open fire for relaxing after a busy day touring or walking around The Trossachs. All bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms and tea and coffee making facilities. Straid House bed and breakfast is situated just 2 miles from Callander Town Centre where there are lots of restaurants and pubs to choose from.

Situated in one of the most beautiful parts of Scotland, the house is within The Trossachs and Loch Lomond National Park, renowned for its natural beauty, mountains, lochs and glens. The National Cycle Route 7 and the long distance walk.

The Rob Roy Way pass through Callander which makes us an ideal stopping point after a long days walking or cycling. Muddy Boots are welcome and we have secure storage for bicycles plus off road private parking.

There is plenty to see and do in and around Callander and one day is just not enough to explore the National Park! There is a good golf club in the town, a leisure centre with lots of facilities for adults and children, walking routes along the rugged Callander Crags above the town and cycling along the National Cycle Route 7 to Strathyre, and much more. We have secure off road parking and can store your luggage and cycles plus guests have their own keys to give the flexibility to make the most of your stay.

WIFI is available in all room and the guest lounge. Unfortunately, we do not accept pets. We are on hand to offer advice and assistance about the area. We look forward to welcoming you to Straid House.
