Join professional foragers Graham and Christine Whitehouse from Whitehouse Foraging for a mushroom identification walk. You can book onto one of the two sessions – either in the morning or the afternoon.
We will be walking through woodland (mainly on tracks) looking at the environment where you can find mushrooms. We will look at how to identify them and how to use them. Of course, the environment and previous days’ weather will determine whether there is an abundance or not, but we are usually successful.
We will walk whatever the weather so please dress appropriately and wear suitable footwear. Also remember to bring your camera if you’d like to take photos!
This walk is open to all but children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult at a ratio of 1 adult to 2 children.
