Callander Community Council wishes to thank the community for the support it has given to Ukraine and the people of Ukraine over the past few months.

Congratulations to all who donated goods, money or gave of their time for the effort. Everyone’s contribution is appreciated and we are proud to be representing such a caring community.

Amongst many contributions, several stand out :

• support offered by FABB (Trossachs Tryst) and others who hosted Ukrainian refugees for several weeks before they were found permanent accommodation in Edinburgh

• the hard work of Mary and Richard Johnson in collecting donations and arranging transport of the goods to Slovakia to support Ukrainian refugees there

• the local Rotary for collecting donations in the Square for Ukraine

There are many others whom I know have supported Ukraine privately, either with professional advice, monetary donations or offering of services - we thank them also.

Well done Callander and keep your support going for as long as you can, for as long as it is needed.
