From the Winterfest 2017 Committee

We had a weekend of ideal weather...a first for many years...and the festive cheer brought to Callander was the result of many weeks of preparation by volunteers of all ages and interests in the community.

Here is our long ‘thank you’ list covering businesses, community groups, individuals and outside agencies, who gave financial support and sponsorship, gave donations of goods, used their skills to create displays, provided entertainment, and helped with very practical tasks needing physical energy and special know-how.

Funding came from The Co-operative Community Fund, Callander Community Hydro Fund, Airtricity Fund and Stirling Council Community Grants Scheme, as well as donations from many private individuals, and the generous donations from everyone who attended events. Winterfest collection boxes remain on counters in shops and bars till January 2018.
