Welcome to Westerton, a relaxed and friendly country house style Bed & Breakfast set in a large riverbank garden at the west end of Callander. The picturesque Trossachs town of Callander is just a short drive from the historic sites of Stirling and Doune Castle and is an ideal central location to explore and enjoy the stunning scenery of Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park and the Scottish Highlands beyond. Choose from three beautifully inviting guest bedrooms, all exclusively for adults, a perfect place to relax and unwind . . .

Nestled in a land of shimmering lochs, misty mountains and ethereal glens, Callander is the perfect base to discover and explore Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park and beyond. Often described as “Scotland in miniature” where the Scottish Highlands meet the Lowlands . . .

Enjoy a morning stroll along the Rob Roy Way/cycle route 7 only a couple of minutes from Westerton. Relax on the terrace at Westerton and appreciate the birdsong in our nature friendly riverbank garden. Explore the wealth of woodland walks and hikes and discover the romantic imagery that has inspired artists and writers for centuries.

A landscape steeped in Scottish history and legend, sail back in time on the Steam Ship Sir Walter Scott and trace the footsteps of Rob Roy MacGregor on the shores of Loch Katrine. Escape to the secluded tranquillity of Inchmahome Priory, built in the 13th century on Scotland’s only “Lake”, Lake of Menteith. Visit historic Doune Castle, a late 14th century courtyard castle, perhaps familiar to today’s setjetters as a film location in Monty Python & The Holy Grail, Game of Thrones and Diana Gabaldon’s “Outlander”.

Callander is a world away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Just over one hours drive from the major cities and International Airports of Edinburgh and Glasgow and even closer to the historic city of Stirling.
