Trossachs & Callander shops and services
Car parking is available along the main shopping street and there are two large carparks. There is also a small parking area behind the information centre and a further one at the top of North Church St. The west end carpark on the riverside is a great place to picnic, feed ducks and stretch your legs.
There are at least six 'woollens shops', three 'outdoor shops' and fifteen or more 'craft & souvenir' shops. For the windswept ladies there are four or five hairdressers in Callander (see below) and a gents barber shop in Ancaster Square. There is a medical centre with 2 GP practices, a chemist and an optician - near Stirling if you like a day trip! Should you find that the shops are too much for you there are at least a dozen cafes and restaurants to suit all tastes plus the ever handy 'chippies' and some excellent pubs, most of which serve at bar meals or better. At weekends many local pubs offer live entertainment.
